User Portal (Billing & Usage)

If your query is related to your account's billing or usage, you may be able to find the answer immediately from the User Portal, without having to wait for an email response from us.

All existing customers can sign in and access the portal, which allows you to view and manage your account's billing, as well as view your recent CleverCaptions usage.

If you're reporting an issue with the CleverCaptions service, you may also wish to check our Status page, which states whether we're aware of any issues affecting service functionality, and the current status of addressing it.

You may find that the issue you intend to report is already being actively addressed. However, should you feel you have information about the behaviour of the issue that will help us solve it faster, we'd greatly appreciate you proceeding to file a bug report by following the instructions below.

Feedback & Suggestions

If you have a suggestion about CleverCaptions which doesn't require a response from us, kindly indicate this by including "[FEEDBACK]" in the subject of an email to [email protected].

We read and note all of the feedback and suggestions we receive. Not requiring a response helps us reduce the time spent writing a reply, and in turn spend more time on other parts of CleverCaptions.

Where applicable, we would highly appreciate it if you attach or link to screen captures or screen recordings of what you're trying to illustrate.

Bug Reports

If you encounter a bug with CleverCaptions, kindly report it using this email template, and filling out the relevant details. To find out which version of CleverCaptions you have installed, please navigate to Google Chrome → Open the CleverCaptions extension sidebar → More () → About CleverCaptions.

Where possible, please also include or attach any contextual information relevant to the occurrence of the issue, for example, a particular video ID, or a specific video time. Screenshots and screen recording illustrating the bug are greatly appreciated.

Knowing exactly what the issue encountered is, and the sequence of actions to make in order to reproduce the bug, goes a long way in helping us replicate, find and ultimately fix the issue.
